this was the third consecutive kentucky election for trump…..the republican nominee has won kentucky every election since democrat bill clinton carrie the bluegrass
state in 1996…..
after a lengthy and expensive campaign……amendment two to allow the kentucky legislature to spend tax dollars on private and charter schools failed by a wide
margin…..and amendment one passed…..adding more constitutional language banning noncitizens voting in the commonwealth…..
bowling green mayor todd alcott and the bowling green commissioners were reelected……
and second district congressman brett guthrie won another term in congress….
