ALLEN FISCAL COURT TRAVELED TO THE  ADOLPHUS FIRE DEPARTMENT LAST NIGHT TO HOLD THEIR MEETING AND CONDUCTED MOSTLY ROUTINE…..

 

THE COURT APPROVED AN ADDENDUM TO THE CONTRACT THAT PROVIDES MEDICAL SERVICES FOR THE ALLEN COUNTY DETENTION CENTER….THE CURRENT

CONTRACT PROVIDES A NURSE FOUR HOURS A DAY…..HOWEVER WITH THE DENTENTION CENTER’S POPULATION AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS…..PRISIONERS ARE

STILL HAVING TO BE TAKEN FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT AND JAIL STAFF IS  HAVING TO DISTRIBUTE MEDICATIONS…..WITH THE CHANGE….A NURSE WILL BE

AVAILABLE EIGHT HOURS A DAY….FIVE DAYS A WEEK…..THE COST FOR THE CHANGE IS 145-THOUSAND-840 DOLLARS WILL BE SPLIT BETWEEN THE FISCAL COURT

AND DENTENTION CENTER WHICH AND WILL STILL BE A SEVINGS TO THE COUNTY…..

JUDGE EXECUTIVE DENNIS HARPER SAID THE COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENTS WILL EACH BE RECEIVING 18-THOUSAND-64 DOLLARS FOR FIRE DUES…..

AND THE COURT APPROVED THE NEXT STEPS TO DEMOLISH THREE ABANDONED MOBILE HOMES  ON CARTER CHURCH ROAD…..
